Flushing, New York (August 28, 2021) - Don Victor Mooney, President of H.R. 1242 Resilience Project returned to New York-Presbyterian Queens, not for a third time via emergency room. Mr. Max Musashi Fischman, Patience Experience Lead, was on hand to retrieve a special item.
Mooney delivered a New York-Presbyterian Queens banner he found discarded in Flushing Meadows Corona Park during his walks. "This hospital put me on the road to recovery two times. I'm grateful to do something in return. They know the community," said Mooney.

The Arthur Ashe Never Give Up Award is being inaugurated in the US Open. It is named after the American tennis player Arthur Ashe. In lieu of the US Open canceling Arthur Ashe Day this year, H.R. 1242 Resilience Project, hopes to keep Arthur Ashe’s legacy relevant in these challenging times.
Flushing, New York (August 24, 2021) - Mr. Paul DiPasquale, Master Sculpture, of Richmond, Virginia has granted H.R. 1242 Resilience Project, one time authorization to reproduce the iconic Arthur Ashe Monument for a tribute to the tennis legend.
H.R. 1242 Resilience Project plans to reproduce the image on a banner and have it on display during 2021 US Open. Mr. Nick Fasano, a Long Island Rail Road representative, is in communication with the Office of New York State Senator, Toby Ann Stavisky for authorization protocols.

On Sunday morning, Rev. Al Sharpton took a call from Don Victor Mooney, a Kew Gardens Hills resident and President of H.R. 1242 Resilience Project on his radio program heard nationwide.
After Mooney noted that he had the support of Rev. Herbert Daughtry, another National Civil Rights Activist and Pastor of the House of the Lord Church in Brooklyn, New York, he learned his fate. Rev. Daughtry supported all of Mooney's transatlantic rowing attempts that numbered four.
Sharpton said, anything involving Rev. Daughtry I'll support. I'm honored that you have invited me to attend this event. I don't know the time, but I have a show on Sunday. Please call the office and give them the details. If I can, I'll certainly be there.

Newark, New Jersey (August 21, 2021) - Don Victor Mooney, President of H.R. 1242 resilience Project returned from an internment ceremony for his brother at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in California on Saturday.
The Mooney family received a letter from the President of the United States, Joe Biden and a flag from the State of New York. Prior to the ceremony, Mooney attended Mass at Saint Peter's Catholic Church in Dixon, California.
Among other things, H.R. 1242 Resilience Project wants to commend United Airlines for their Veterans Honor Wall at Newark International Airport. Words can't express our deepest appreciation for many that made the ultimate sacrifice and others who wear the uniform today.
Flushing, New York (August 19, 2021) - The tribute to Arthur Ashe at USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on August 29, coincides with National Faith HIV/AIDS Day.
The observance is intended to engage faith communities to work together for HIV/AIDS education, prevention, treatment, care, and support, and to reduce and eliminate stigma and discrimination. Rev. Dr. Herbert Daughtry is confirmed to bring a special message during the sidewalk commemoration outside the tennis center.
